Our first turkey egg!!

It's a little bigger than a chicken egg and white with speckles all over it. I posted pics of it in the turkey thread so I don't know if I'm supposed to post here too or not?? What a huge surprise it was for us because we didn't think she'd lay until next spring but here she is with an egg the week before thanksgiving! Hehe. Our nephew asked if we were going to eat her now (which she actually got a reprieve a few weeks ago).

the first duck, quail, guinea, peacock, pigeon or rabbit (okay, that last one was to see if you were paying attention) egg. I must be pretty easy to please because those first eggs are always so exciting!

I remember how pretty those speckled turkey eggs are.
