Almost a year ago I rescued four half sisters, boer x alpine girls. Raising them has been really difficult as they were not socialized with as kids, but we have finally figured them out. We were thinking about using them for dairy, but haven't been able to find an alpine buck owner willing to let us breed them. Buying one is out of the question, getting a buck really isn't an option and won't be until/unless we have enough goats to justify it. So... Back to the point, does anybody have alpines or know of someone who does?
