Am I a bad person?

Well you really only need one rooster! I agree though, putting them in something that tiny sucks.

You asked our opinion, no one said you'd like it.

Why not just seperate the roo's into a bachler coupe?

If your roo's can stand up in a milk crate, I'm guessing they must be bantams.

My roo's never bother the hens while they are in the coop, but the moment I let them out in the morning the chase is on!

To answer your original question:
No bawk, you're not a bad person, just maybe a little misguided on this one issue.

My two roosters sleep in dog crates twice thier size at night because they cannot crow early (I live in the City). They have plenty of room to move around and a perch to sit on. I do not think it is mean because I have meet thier needs.

I think, and fervently hope, that this person is having you all on.
If that's not the case -WOW!!!

I don't think this is a bad thing, as long as it's only at night. Yes, it's not the most ideal situation, but I don't think it is cruel in any way. Sometimes we just have to do the best with what we have.

Once the roos you don't favor hit the dinner table, I'd consider a bachelor pad for the rest of them.

yes it is only at night, and the roosters we will keep after the roasting will have large dog kennels at night to sleep in.
