Am I actually a girl?

I found this photo of a 17 week old cockerel (closest age I could find) for comparison. Note the red patches on the wings and the obvious red (not laced) saddle feathers coming in. Yours may yet be a cockerel, but I think you need to wait a BIT longer.

I had this one pegged as a rooster at 3 weeks old for a big very pink comb, muddier lacing pattern, and attitude (I did not get great pics at that time). However, at 10 weeks I'm wondering. Comb hasn't grown a huge amount, and saddle area feathers looking rounded to me (the red on the saddle feathers comes to a point, but the blue lacing and feather edge is way more rounded). I don't have other blrw chicks to compare this one with, which is making it harder.

I have no idea, but I will tell you that twice I've had white chickens where they're combs looked real red early on and it turned out they were actually girls. One fiught with everybody I could have sworn it was going to be a rooster. several people on here told me it was a hen though and it turned out they were right.

Still looks like a laced feather to me, the red I see is the pattern in an otherwise rounded feather.

More pics! Baby didn't think much of mine poking around but is snoozing on my lap now. I used a notebook to try to show the edge since the light blue color hides the feather edges. Look at these lovely guys coming in

Also discovered these two feathers over the wing while I was sitting with him. All deep red! Such a pretty fella
