I've been following this thread, and glad you made the trip safely!

I did think of you yesterday, when my daughters and I drove 2 1/2 hours away to pick up an Angora bunny. That seemed like a long ride, let alone 13 hours.

Sounds like an adventure to me!

Hehehe j/k ... have a safe trip! I think if I had the resources, I would drive half way across the country to visit a fellow BYCer. I think it's more about making friends than it is about the actual bird when it's that kind of a road trip. Just have a good time, enjoy the road trip and have a good visit with your new friend! And yes, of course, congrats on the acquisitions.
