I hope at least the product received was in good condition and up to your expectations. I live in the US and buy from US vendors and there have been more than a few times I felt I got cheated on the postage..
Now and then I send house plants across the country and the Postal service hounds me to insure them. I know this is a ripoff - perishables can not be insured - which seems to surprise the employees as well as the local postmistress when I quote that to them.
I know overnight express shipment(for birds) used to be guaranteed to arrive by noon the next day or your postage refunded. BS. My friend had birds shipped 4 or 5 times - always overnight express and never got one within the next day noon time frame. - more likely it was 2 or 3 days. The PO would then say "it should be delivered by noon the next day" but if it took longer - well forget about any postage refund - the PO has you by the marbles and it's pay up and shut up.
