I was wonder what rolled otas or corn meal I can use for baby chickens I hear it helps with pasty butt???

chick starter is really all you need less other introduced the better extra causes past pretty quick

I agree, I would just stick with their chick starter. I make a mix of seeds and grains when they are a little older and also give them some chick grit. Good luck and have fun...

Oats might be healthy for humans but they are detrimental for a chickens health. Chick starter is good feeding them corn and oats would be very unbalanced. Oh and

Hi and welcome to BYC. I agree that sticking with chick / starter feed is the most appropriate way forward. Maybe reducing the heat in the brooder may also help.

Welcome Agree with Pork Pie.... Check temperature in brooder, make sure that you don’t cover entire area with light.... chicks need to be able to move to a cooler spot if too warm. Check bums at least twice a day.
