Latest from the now 5 week olds....
I have 3 that have decided to start jocky-ing for top hen I believe. My golden buff is challenging both of the buff orpingtons. Usually starts with the golden buff eyeing up an orpington...in return the Orpington charges...jumps up and kinda claws first at her. That happens a time or 2 until they are beak to beak. One time the golden buff didn't back down and it was a stalemate. This lasT time she did back down.
when they roost....one inevitably likes to go against the mold and roost opposite of the others....always a black Australorp doing it. Never the other breeds!
