My good old rooster passed away so I hatched out a bunch of his eggs hoping for a rooster. I got 4. Now these fellows are quite fantastic. They are not aggressive. They get along with each other. They are pretty good to my few hens. Most astonishing, though, is that their spurs do not seem to be developing. Still just little nubs. These are Delawares, a heritage breed. The hens are pure and the rooster adopted us but looked like a small sturdy Delaware. Two of the roosters have pea comb deviations, two are classic. They need homes. I am in Central Texas.
