When looking at show quality or heritage RIR or Barred Rocks, one could say the same thing about these breeds as well. What we get from hatcheries are a pretty far cry from some of the outstanding birds some BYCers show here. Makes you just drool.

I just got two EEs from meyer. One is all yellow and the other looks like a smudged chipmunk. The only way I can tell that they're the EEs is their puffy cheecks <3 muttism aside, I love them, the grown ones I have are my most accomodating gals.
