X2!Pullet. Blue eggs are in your future.
Definitely x2. That's a slow developing cockerel. He has beautiful splash feathering.Cockerel.
With this color variation it's harder to spot the pointed male feathers, but I definitely see some pointy hackle feathers on this birds neck.Pretty pullet! I see no boy shiny feathers. But lots of rounded girl feathers!
17 weeks for a slow developing cockerel? To me it looks like an almost point of lay pullet. Do you mind explaining your reasoning?Definitely x2. That's a slow developing cockerel. He has beautiful splash feathering.
Yeah, I also see them on the hen in my profile pic. With this color variation it's harder to spot the pointed male feathers, but I definitely see some pointy hackle feathers on this birds neck.
I have one with this exact coloring that is a cockerel. And it’s even the same age. Not hard to spot at all. Mine is a EE/OEWith this color variation it's harder to spot the pointed male feathers, but I definitely see some pointy hackle feathers on this birds neck.
No problem.17 weeks for a slow developing cockerel? To me it looks like an almost point of lay pullet. Do you mind explaining your reasoning?
The comb was not large but was bright pink at 8 weeks.Triple pea comb says male to me....but feathering is odd, not clearly male or female.
How large and red was that comb at 6-8 weeks?
Could be a hermaphrodite(or there's another more appropriate word for chickens that escapes me at the moment)....only time will tell.
