I think type is good on them. They need a little more consistency in the color. Like- either buff or red, but not both. You know? And the leg color would need to be slate. I see yellow in there.

No! They need both! Rooster - red, pullet - buff.

They don't have any yellow legs!

Hi AM peeps. I have a question if you don't mind... can a foot fault such as genetic curled toes be bred out? I have a absolutely perfect gorgeous hen, but she has curled toes and I am certain it is genetic because her hatch mates were the same. We culled many of them.

They are like ameraucanas in build (very meaty and hefty) but they have yellow skin. I could breed that out in time but this coming year will be breeding them together to see what I get. Their father was a barred rock hen x red columbian ameraucana rooster. The hens I had in the pen were a production red, buckeye, and basic wildtype EE hens. Based on the patterning, I think it is safe to say that the cockerel is from different hens just because he is columbian and none of the pullets really show much of the columbian pattern.

Here is my auto sexing olive egger project. I have 6 more silver chicks I hatched from Jerry. These 3 I hatched before. I think there are 2 hens here. Each side, could be wrong on what the middle one is though.

Here is a lavender cuckoo LF cockerel.I hope to get a late hatch from him and some lav hens.

First attempt at lemon cuckoo.Cuckoo project cock x buff ameraucana.Both LF.This should be a cockerel carrying silver and gold.Will most likely appear cockoo with brassiness or leakage.My first choice was to use lemon cuckoo orp.Only hatched 1 chick out of a order of eggs and it lived 1 day.Decided to use what I had.It will take several crosses back to buff to get good color.

Here are a couple of updated photos.He does show buff but it is hard to see.
