Will someone please clarify for me on this hen...EE? She lays minty green blue eggs. Please excuse her ruffled appearance...not only is she my daughters favorite, she is also my Roos

That is a tough one. I had a white hen and she fit every criteria of being a true Ameraucana, yet I new for sure she was an EE. I bought her from the feed store with other EE chicks.

My Ameraucans have wider tails that lay at a lesser angle. I'd say Easter egger. But who knows

She appears to be Ameraucana, maybe not a perfect one though. Leg color looks good, beak looks to be horn. Is that a bit of black on the tip of it? As long as it's not a yellow beak, that's good. Comb looks a bit large for a female and tail looks too long, but that doesn't necessarily make her an EE.
Other poster is probably right. Breed her to white male Ameraucana to see if she breeds true.

Thanks for the input everyone. She had just jumped up to the perch...her tail doesn't normally sit that high. I don't have a white Roo... Perhaps next year I can acquire one. I already have Wheatons ordered and I really don't want to cancel.

For a good evaluation/critique, you'll want to take and post a photo (or photos) showing him without the other birds blocking much of him. A nice side profile of him showing his entire body (including legs) is a good place to start.
