That is neither an Ameraucana nor pullet. That is an Easter Egger, and with that bright pink comb, it's also a cockerel.
What's a juvenile silver look like? I don't know, don't raise them, just wondering if it could be a silver.

Try Paul Smith in Gainseville.I am looking for a REAL Ameraucana pullet in Texas, preferably in the Houston area or up to a couple of hours away. I really love the blues, lavenders and splashes but am open to other colors as well. I tried to find one last year and bought a frizzled EE who ended up laying a brown egg. I have a very gentle breed mixed flock of four and am only looking for one bird. I can't believe how hard it has been to find one! If anyone has a single pullet or knows where I can get one, please pm me. I am willing to pay generously for the right bird.

I have A question for anyone. I have been on this thread several times and heard people say that a pure Ameraucanaa chicken does not have green legs. The Chicken chick says that they can have green, slate, and yellow legs. I googled this question because I got some hatching eggs from a girl that advertised them ,on I can't say where and she said that they were Ameraucana eggs and OE eggs. I didn't have very good luck with the hatch and the two chicks that I came up with have green legs. I was going to comment to her about the fact that they have green legs and thought I would check it out first. Can anybody tell me 100% that an Ameraucana chicken can't have green legs? Very curious about this and about the fact that the chicken chick says otherwise. I'd like to actually hear what anybody has to say. Thank you
IMO, while The Chicken Chick can be a great source for care info, I don't put a lot of stock in her specific breed info- particularly AM, which seems to be one of the most often confused breeds. No offense to her.The Standard of Perfection states only slate colored legs for Ameraucanas, no green legs... green legs are caused by yellow skin and as per the SOP, Ameraucanas have white skin as well... Wheaten Ameraucanas may have a lighter slate color, but not green...
You can check out their SOP here...
