hmmm, just out of curiosity I might be inclined to breed one back to the dad and see that you get. I would want to see if I could get an "off-color" cockeral......just because I need to know
I'm leaning toward boy because of the lack of feathering and it's really really friendly. The comb is still totally light and almost non-existant though. I have a nice pair of lav splits, so I was really hoping for a girl. Either way- just happy to have the color in the flock now
I was looking thru my local Craig's list and saw this ad:
I have americaca chicks for 2.00 each also i have rouen baby ducks for 4.00 each. We also have 2 silver sebright hens young that i will sell for 10.00 or trade for other bantams call 803-270-****
Think those Americacas have "pasty butts"?
P.S. I have made many typos in my life and am not criticizing this person in anyway, but the typo is what makes it funny! Now if it said Americabas...not so much!
our silver that was smaller than this one has less feathering but is feathering in a pullet I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to get feathers.Glad they found a super home I just can't jump on the lavender train unless it's my cute little cochins.
I hadn't paid much attention to the silvers looking like leghorns until Jean brought that up...you should see my silver Am's near my silver legs..near identical other than the poofy cheeks and dark legs.I still have an extra roo but think I will hold onto him as a spare..sure are worse things to look at than a beautiful silver roo
