He has some really pretty birds, I just feel like it is false advertising. Especially when I am going to be trying to sell the real thing 30 miles away

I would agree... if he was breeding for something specific, then it's fine, but needs to have 'project' in there then... imo...

Yes. I haven't seen the silky mix, but the ones he calls ameraucanas are really really pretty. Almost pastel colors, and really full muffs and beards

They were pretty birds, but not standard... there were some issues in the other breed I saw too... sad...

What color Amerucaunas do you have?

BBS straight from Paul Smith. I am extremely happy with them so far, just waiting for them to start laying

I've looked over craigslist for buff Ameraucanas anywhere between northern Idaho and Seattle. I've found, unless they advertise which colors they have, they're generally EE's. I'm sure there are exceptions, but this is what I've found.

Yeah, he watermarks all of his pictures. Didn't you say you saw it on Facebook or eBay?

I looked him or her up last night on Facebook. There are some stunning birds in the photos

Some of those birds are really beautiful, but not technically accepted colors. If they are officially recognized as Easter Eggers, those are the most beautiful EEs I've ever seen
