i got my first blue wheaten ameraucana egg yesterday.the pullets are from "halo" and just turned 6 months old.so cool!

Quick question - I hatched a blue and a black Ameraucana a couple weeks ago. The blue one almost looks like it has very light barring (lighter blue instead of white) on the wing feathers that are coming in. Is this a common thing that will go away once he molts again? (And yes, they both look like roos already

)

Ok I finally got pics. Not real good at this but I think these are boys...

And I think these are girls...

I think all my wheatons are girls...? I'm going by pics some of you sent me of your wheatons.

And the silvers? They all have tiny combs that show almost no pink but 1 has much more silver than the others (the one on the top)...

Any opinions from those of you that are much better at this than I?
