Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

You're the author....excuse me, "published author". :)

Susan PMed and said she needed an article for the ABC newsletter. She wanted it written by someone that wasn't new to chickens, but was new to the breed, and thought of me. I sent her the rough draft last night, and she liked it, so I will have an article in the next newsletter :weee

I'm thinking she's on the back 9
Oh no! Hopefully, she's just found herself another hidden nesting spot and she'll show up later.
She is not literally lost. Mentally. I had to relent..... I moved all the firewood so she could have her nest back. She was rushing me, standing on logs, waiting for me to get things right. Then she settled down with her back to me. She dismissed me after things were to her satisfaction. Oh well....... another chicken episode. Someone wrote on BYC how well trained she was by her chickens. I know what she means. They tell me what to do. The other night I walked out to close the coop door and everyone was standing around the porch. I thought what the heck is wrong, they should be in the coop. The wind had closed the door and they came to get me. They know how to get things done. I guess I am their "Go To Person".

My breeder sent me a pic last night of my chicks! They looked great from what I could tell! They are so precious! Now if the post office doesn't kill them! I actually tried to post the chicks in their box for you guys but I'm doing something wrong.

Maybe a stupid question but ... you have called your local P.O. to tell them you are expecting chicks, right? I know my P.O. clerk wife likes to know BEFORE she gets into work that there will likely be a box of chicks or poults or bees. She doesn't care one way or another about the rocks

Except now his head is swollen even more... he won't even remind you about our request for our Am cock comparison... please???

Nah, the other guy wrote that ;)
You wouldn't even be concerned about the comparison if Jerry hadn't already said he liked yours better :gig

I'd like to read it... ;)

Nope, I really want to know the finer points I need to work on with mine...

I already conceded that yours was better... don't make me :smack you around some more... :gig

When you click the photo icon above the post you are typing, it should give you an option to pick a picture from your photo library. Are you getting all the way to "submit photo" and it's not going through, or are you not getting that far?
when I try to choose a photo it won't even let me into my photo gallery. It offers like 5 completely random pictures and when I try to go in it it just takes the first photo. Like photos from a while back....I don't know for sure what's going on I have tried it Mobil and desktop even tighter I'm just on Mobil.
