Yes, chasing and caring for farm animals sure can be busy work! LOL Sometimes I feel like a chicken with it's head cut off.

We are in a very busy (and fun) phase of life. I love seeing chicken pictures!!!

I got my first eggs from this year's pullets today.

Collecting blue eggs never gets old! These came out of my wheaten/blue wheaten/splash wheaten pens. The pullets that I kept in my other color varieties are not quite old enough to lay yet.

So pretty!!! My girls from you are about 16 weeks old now, I hope their eggs are as pretty!!! (I'm sure they will be!)

I would really appreciate your help. This is my last chance to choose between the two blues. They would not stand still in the sun which doesn't help since neither of them has the strongest lacing. These are my first so I am leaning. The first one is bigger with a much darker black blue to his coloring. The second one is a bit lighter with a neat but likely wrong patterning on his back
