they look pure but look like they have some red leakage. without that red leakage they would be splash. I wouldn't use any of the ones leaking red.

Speaking of green legs, there is someone selling Wheaten Ameraucana (TRUE Ameraucana) eggs in combo with maran eggs on Ebay. The cockerel has willow legs.

Wow. I missed that. But then, I don't think chickens should look like they stuck their beak in a light socket. JMO.

LOL I hear ya. I have 2 black frizzled cochin pullets that I'm going to put with my lavender bantam cockerel for frizzled easter eggers just because other people will want them. Personally, they don't do alot for me, but my son likes them for 4H and I've had several people email me and ask for frizzled EEs (even though my website advertises neither frizzles OR ees, go figure).

probably not. I would get some real splash silkied ameraucanas and breed them to a hard feathered black. all the babies should be blue and breed them together to get your silkied blacks. I don't know if it will work like that either, I'm unfimiliar with the silkied gene but if its a simple recessive then it should work like that.
Hope I told you right..... I looked it up and the silkied gene is recessive so it should work this way.
