By the way if an americana chick is chocalate what color does she grow up to be. She is very dark and solid right now. I thought she looked like coffee.

If there's any hint of brown on her at all, and (sorry) the fact that "Americana" was the used word - It highly suggests Easter Egger. The only other possibility are Black Ameraucanas, but those are solid black with a little or a lot of white on the underside. Also, check leg color and sole color. . .
