Yeah beautiful and colorful eggs. That's what I am shooting for some of each color
Quote:Dang! If I found that one, I'd be hatching that sucker!!!!
Quote:Beautiful eggs. I hope my chickens lay that many colors.
(at this point I hope my chickens just lay eggs. I am soooo tired of waiting for them to grow up. They are only 8 weeks....so I have a LONG time to wait yet)
Here is my 5.5 month old Blue Wheaten roo, "Gideon". Not even Geoffrey has beautiful dark blue lacing like this one. He is also larger than Geoffrey and came out of a gorgeous blue egg from a Wayne Meredith blue wheaten pullet with Geoffrey over her.
Tail is entirely blue... legs are very blue... doesn't look that way in the pic but they are. I couldn't get him to turn around to get a front shot.
FAULT... blue in the hackles. Other than that, nice crow and he's trying to get fresh with the ladies.
Just dropping in to remind folks to make their June nominations!
Quote:Your chicks are pretty. I used to live in Lancaster, Ca.
Muy bueno ! especialemente la pollo con barba, is the father a whte ameraucana ? Quantos los pollos tienen "pea combs" Creo que se puedo escriben al EE thread.
laughing at my attempt to use "spanish"
I realize this is a long shot due to my location in Northwest New Mexico, but I have 12 LF Lavender Ameaucana chicks looking for a home since a buyer disappeared.
I do not ship unfortunately. If you are in the area and are interested please PM me for more details. Might be worth the drive for someone. They are pure Shaffer.
Ignore the Buff Brahmas and Cochin cross in the pic.
Try putting them on the 24 hr auction thread.
And, speaking of that thread, I just put some chicks on there that are left over from last night's hatch. It's a buy it now......
