I thought he was sold out of lavs already. Are you still interested in doing an egg swap when my ladies cooperate?

I emailed to check with him. He has very limited groups of five left. But for the amount I would pay for 25 day olds, is probally about what it would cost me (including shipping) for an older split lav pullet. Hopefully, I can sell what I don't need and just raise up whatever lavs I get. Even if I wind up with some boys, I have enough black pullets to use them on. I'm still up for egg swapping when our birds cooperate, I just won't be buying to much for a while, lol! Hopefully, nobody else's check beats mine.

*swells with pride* I Produced that Bird!!!!! (and I go to that 4-h) The sad part is that his brother is better than him...

Now that is definately something to be proud of, he's beautiful!​

He looks very similar to my black show bird and he has been getting Best AOSB, Best Large Fowl and Reserve of Show too.

That's a great accomplishment, congratulations to you and Carolyn!

I could be wrong, but, I'm pretty sure that is one of her birds. You can always tell Carolyn's birds by how immaculately kept they are.

I don't know if she purchased anything from Paul at a different time.

No idea. I believe she swapped some birds with Larry, but, beyond that - no clue.​
