I had 2 separate hatches last spring.... one all roos the next was all pullets so it balanced out. Just keep hatching

How old are they?There is such a thing as juvenile barring in some colors.There are also some lav cuckoo projects out there.I wouldn't get too upset.Pullet or cockerel?If you get too upset ship em to me.I would love to get some Shaffer blood.Harry is booked up for the next 2 years last I heard.Why would I find two small barred feathers on the inner side of a lav wing? They are barred lavender and these are purebred, supposed to be "Shaffer."
Well the lavenders I started with were used for both my Ameraucanas and the US lavender Orps and cuckoos have popped up out of them so that is not surprising. Also mottled have popped up from them. There had seem to be a lot of versity in their background so an oddball color may pop up occassionally that is still better than have feathered legs IMO.Why would I find two small barred feathers on the inner side of a lav wing?
