Salmon is very similar to wheaten, and they develop pretty much the samenot as familiar with these, but that is very true with my Faverolles, esp the boys
...in fact, I do not even begin to look at color until they are around 11 months old. I then select my show birds and figure out who is good breeding material. Here is a picture of a young fav roo, this particular guy is less "messy" then they often are
Here is a boy around 5-6 months, better but still very sloppy

They go through a ton of stages, basically have only 2 months they can be shown as cockerels LOL
