I wish my black rooster would pick up his game. I'm extremely happy with the blues the splash is throwing, Oz's chicks are feathering in really dark, but the black has the better type. I want to grow some blues out side by side to see how they match up

How big is their pen? Maybe you gave the girls too much running room...

My husband is building a big pen for my rabbits!  I was thinking Wheaten//Blue Wheaten though!

No, it's the exact same size as Jack's. I've watched him, it's just taking him a long time to assume the lead role. One blue is submissive, and he gets her all the time. When he grabs the others and they squeal, he gives up too quickly. We''ll see how this Saturday's candle turns out. If he's still off, I'm scrapping those and setting 2 dozen of Jack's and giving Johnny a few more weeks.
I also think I need to add a wall between Johnny and Silas. They can see each other, and Silas stalks Johnny. Maybe if I can get them to quit focusing on each other they will pay more attention to the girls

I tried rabbits last year, and sold them after a couple of months. I spend so much time with the chickens that I felt like I was neglecting the rabbits, so I sold them to a kid.

I have a pretty Lavender that I could send him a picture of if that would help his game! Make a 8x10 to put up in his pen! Look at that pretty chick!

The one is more of a brighter cleaner yellow! The second in question it looks more like the other ones on base color just no splashes yet!

Yep, block their view of each other... ask Walnut, the boys spend too much time displaying and posturing that they neglect their 'duties'...

That's definitely Silas' problem. He paces that fence trying to get to Johnny, and Johnny doesn't pay him a lot of attention, but Silas is obsessed with getting to him. I was thinking last week that I needed a screen, so I will definitely put one up this weekend.
I will say, though, that Silas is pretty awesome looking when he's flared up
