My BBS Ameraucana chicks that I hatched are 10 and a half weeks old now. Do the beards/muffs look normal for their age? My half breeds never lost their beards so I'm that's why I'm wondering what's up. Thanks.
After taking these pictures I found LOTS of leakage in shoulder pinfeathers on the splash. I suppose I'll have to call him an easter egger.

There could be some molt going on, there could be some beard picking, feather lice, or they could be carrying one copy instead of two.

I was told to wait until my LF Black Ameraucana girls were a little older before evaluating them. They've past the six month mark, so what do you'all think about them. Pros? Cons? Thanks.
