I can't wait for my Wheatens and Blue Wheatens from Jean's eggs to reach POL!

What do you mean by she has too much "ginger color"?

i cant wait , i have a few pure ameraucana hens , one is a bantam blue hen, and the others are b/b/s young chicks tho , but what i cant wait for is my pure white ameraucana to hatch , those are my favorite , i also plan on getting more b/b/s and definately some buffs , wheaten, blue wheaton, but not yet to sure on the silvers or brown reds

She should look more like this pullet in front of my roo: but with bluer or more slate legs.

Oh... and I promise, you will NOT be disappointed with Jean's stock, she has worked very, very hard and you can see the results.
Now we all just try to improve upon what she's started.

I see the difference. I guess I unknowingly did the right thing when I sold off my darker pullets. Most of them were Wheaten and had some black in their hackles and the wheaten color itself was much more "gingery" in the birds I rehomed. I'm glad I kept the right ones!

They're already so gorgeous, I'm excited to see how they mature.

I just brought home one of Juliect's black roos from AHappyChick. He is beeee-oooo-tiful! Can't wait til my lavs grow up and can join him. He'll have to house with the cochins for a few months. Pics later when I upload

I am so glad that you like him, and I am even more glad he has a great home! This is like giving up a child, but 4 pullets and 4 roos just wasn't working out. He is a looker so he should provide some gorgeous babies. Keep me posted!

2 more roos to go...deep cleansing breathes...I can do this. The next adoptive family may have to prize my fingers off the roo, but I can do this.
