I saw one person post here about their brown-reds, otherwise, I honestly don't know. They are indeed very rare and hard to come by. I would think John Blehm offers chicks, but otherwise, perhaps someone else here knows.
I for one am definitely going to offer all the Buffs I can next year - I love the color, and I love working on rare varieties, plus I love a challanging variety, so once my birds go at least into F1 stage I'll offer to those who want to work on them then second gens to those who just want BUFFS.
I really want to get it out there, the rare colors.
Also I want to stop this nonsense about people's "buff ameraucanas" that are actually brown and black Easter Eggers.
Big difference people. Look up Buff and truly look at the color difference. Not that hard.
