Any pea-combed female offspring would probably lay blue eggs. Especailly if the momma hen lays white or light brown. Or you could use him to make blue olive eggers if you have any marans or welsummer girls wink My favorite cross is with giant cochins
Thanks for the info. We have a welsummer, barred rock, and some buff cochin. I like the idea of mixing them and seeing what I get. Of course, I could just get rid of him and get some more Ameraucanas... We originally bought 2 "pullets". The first turned into a roo pretty quick. The seller was kind enough to take him back. She would do the same for this one, but we have grown attached
