Ditto. After you get 10 posts on the site, you can take a picture of them and post them for us to see. Whether they are true Am's or EE's, they turn out to be wonderful birds.

I wont be selling either or but just to know,how does one go about finding and proving what they have? has DNA made it to the poultry industry ? im just curious.

o k. after much closer investigating what i am calling brown does have some mixed black. So,would brown red have some black mixed in? Im talking verysmall amounts of black.

Is there a good place to look at true Ameraucana egg colors? I say lots of great bird pictures on the Am site, but no egg shots.

I think you are probably right. The eggs are green. But my rooster sure looks exactly like the brown,red in the picture on the website. Either way they sure crank out the eggs,four hens and i get five eggs a day most weeks
