Ameraucna or Easter Egger?

I like them both too.

It's because Ameraucana are pure that I'm leaning to them.
And possibly slightly because the spelling was correct.

Snowbelle is appalled.
She isn’t mine, but I took the picture. I prefer EEs because they have a more varied appearance.

I've only kept EEs, but I like how they have more of a variety in plumage and egg colors. They are so friendly and sweet, and have adorable muffs!
I am EE through and through!
I know, my boy, Blossom was a sweet half-blind white EE!
Blossom is on the right, he's white, and his brother Mary, a Welsummer, is on the left, big and red!
Both decaesed.

Here's my current (living) baby girl, Freya!
She's EE/Red Star mix!

And her father Ezra!
Orange man on the right, grannie on the left.

Last, but my favorite, next to Freya, is Amy!
My first EE hen!

Easter Eggers! I have an ameraucana, and she is the absolute worst. Super flighty and skittish, and screams whenever I pick her up. None of my other chickens screech like she does when I hold them. Most of my EEs are friendly, smart, and will sit in my arms if I pick them up. They all have such unique personalities too!

Legbars are better than both though.

I ADORE EEs, but if I could only get my hands on an ameraucana... If I had to choose between them, I'd definitely get an ameraucana, right? Not some TSC Ameracana?

*cause that's the only way I'd trust that I have one!
