Those stingers work really well that’s what I use in mine normally. I really love my 17hmr though a little more pricey for ammo but it was a gift and shoots like a dream. Wish I could find some 22 shorts there like finding Bigfoot here lol

We’re supposed to use .22 shorts for dispatching trapped animals. I have some around here somewhere but not many. They are very difficult to find. I still prefer longs for trapping anyway. The blood doesn’t bother me.

Yeah it don’t me either. I just like how quiet the shorts are. This 17 leaves a bloody mess that’s for sure but it makes quick work of anything it come in contact with. Just pricey to feed so I usually just grab the old 22 out or my 870 wing master and let it rip
