Is everyone's Serama's laying well now? I am getting a lot of eggs now, I think they are all laying except Cocopuff and she's getting close, the rooster bred her tonight so I'm hoping for some lovely frizzles soon. My chocolate hens in with my black rooster have all three been laying every day. Sterling's hens have too (he's a silver duckwing). I candled the ones set from 12/30 to 1/5 and they were all good but 3 or 4 so there are a couple dozen to hatch in the next week to two. I have a couple in lockdown now too. There are more incubating but I didn't candle any more. I have almost 4 dozen waiting to be set now! I think I'm just going to go ahead and get another incubator. I don't really want to ship any more right now, I've been considering it but I think I'm just going to try to get them all set. It's just so hard on them to ship. I'll just hope to have a lot of chicks to sell later this spring.
