LOL, that's the truth! The best birds I have in my flock were gifts.

that is why I will help the kids out first before anything ...My son is still young but I want to breed for the Malay then when he is around 5 or 6 he can take over ... I have Malay in my flocks now ... Funny thing is breed type to type and they will pop up . I am going for the Malay type as that is the birds that got me into seramas .. I dont care for what Edgar or amy or The BOD wants BS... I am breeding for malay and what jerry wants because he is the master ....

Also Jake should do well this year in the june show .... He has some really good looking birds now .

I have run into a predicament, my mom wants some seramas.. She is a smidge picky with colors, but she is really excited about frizzles and a few smooth just to keep frizzle gene. If you have any pairs or trios or such please send me some pics & prices..

She is sooo giddy like a child about these little cuties, I think I just made a monster that loves seramas...

please let me know what you have.

Very cool! I like the Malay look too, not super extreme, but you know what I mean. Yes, I bet Jake does have some good looking birds about now. That boy just needs to keep himself out of trouble, so he can come to some shows!

The Serama Semi National show is in a few weeks, Feb 11, at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, Phoenix. She should come, and see everyone's birds, and talk to breeders there.

You know, I really dislike the word "cull". It just has a bad sound to it, and seems so derogatory.

These are still sweet beautiful little birds that we're talking about.

I agree, I don't like that word either, it doesn't help that they use that word for when they kill them either. There should be a seperate word for the PQ's and the ones you kill... When I heard people talking about culling, I was like "What.....?

" Then I found out they just meant they sold them not killed them.
