American serama thread!

Thank you. It was bad. had the neighbors stuff all over my yard. Thats why i thought it was a tornado. I have some great pens but dont know why they came out. alot of lightning then the winds was really strong. Ive lived here my whole life and never seen winds like that.

I always worry that mine won't be smart enough to get in their coops if I'm not home when it storms. All of my other furry / feathered / scaled / skin pets are inside, or can come inside whenever they want to. It's weird having pets that are stuck outside unless I bring them in.

LOL, you could pick up a used baby sling, and strap him to you, and still have your hands free! I don't think he would stay in a baby bjorn, unless you put velcro straps in. Hey I know, you could make him a chicken diaper with a big patch of velcro, and attach him to the baby bjorn!

Well, I sort of have one already, I made a "banana"bag out of polar fleece so I could wear it as a sling and put the fuzzy in it. I have a zipper on the top so that I can close it when needed too. BUT the best way to tote the litte gremlins around is my tried & true ~~ tie a string around your waist, over your shirt, and put fuzzy inside. They get to crawl around, hear your heartbeat-get warm, and bond with ya all while your hands are free.... Now, if you have a six pound birdie, ..........Hmmmmm...don't think it will work then......

I've shipped my eggs to NC, PA, OH, MN, FL, OK, NM, MO, MI, ME....the hatches have all been very consistent - 60%-100% (on non-eventful incubations). You can look at the testimonials on my website to see more information

Sure, just send me a PM or an email from my website. I can do a mixture of feathering or just one kind if you want. Good hatching thoughts for you eggs going into lockdown!!!

We are going to the east coast on the 18th to see the grandkids. If there's anyone on my route that is interested in buying and can meet me along the way, I would bring along a couple but they must be bought and paid for and know we can meet on the way out on the 18th. We go I-44 from Springfield, Mo to St Louis, then across the southern part of Illinois, Indiana then into Kentucky though Louisville and Lexington and on out nearly all on 64 highway.

PM me with questions and I'm happy to take photo's today of the ones I would sell now.

I love seeing your posts, they always encourage me and excite me and give me something to work towards. I would love to have some of those dark blues, I like them more than the standard laced blues. I think I must just like extreme's. My other favorite blue is the pale powder blue I'm getting in some of my Araucana's. They aren't standard but they sure are pretty
