I've got a whisper quiet roo that I'm breeding but he's a smoothie.
You could keep Squeaky on a perch next to your pillow and you'd still need an alarm clock.
There is already a waiting list for his offspring.

Here is a quiet one of mine. His crow is about the same volume as a normal human speaking voice. It can only be heard for about 50 feet.

Even if you were showing you wouldn't need to know the 'class' weights. The only show that uses the 'A', 'B', and 'C' classifications is the Cajun Classic. Any SCNA sanctioned show would use the following weights for pullets, cockerels, hens, and cocks:

Pullets: 12 ounces +/- 20%
Cockerels and Hens: 14 ounces +/- 20%
Cocks: 16 ounces +/- 20%

Thanks!

I thought Cockerels and Pullets shared the 12 ounce +/- and Hens alone were 14 +/-

I got to admit you do have patience, I would of culled her and moved on long ago if it me. Now you know she is ok, are you going to stick to your plan with Grady's birds?????? He has all the nice variations of cocopop all over his place!!!!

Good luck and enjoy!!!!

OH YES!!! However, because I knew I couldn't bring any new birds in, I have spent more money on the horses than I normally would have. Stuff that we can use, and is great to have, but if I were saving to buy more birds I might not have bought it!!! But I am going to be selling some tack, so should have some cashola soon to spend at Grady's. I haven't even talked to him yet, but can't wait!!! I do LOVE the cocoapops!!!

I am really shocked that her eyes changed like that. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself! I don't really have patience, just couldn't bring myself to do the deed.

Grady has some of the prettiest birds! Will you get to pick your's up or have them shipped?

My plan is to go down and spend the day. Like I said, I haven't called him yet. Will do that once I have some cash to spend! LOL. I want to see the birds in the flesh and get to pick them out myself.

ETA: he's only about 5 hrs from me. I may try to go down the pm before and spend the night in a hotel, then come home the next pm.

Woo hoo! You better be prepared to spend AT LEAST a couple hours...that's how long I was there. It was great! He has so many wonderful birds. His wife raises chihuahuas and italian greyhounds too.

O Lawdy Lawdy!!! I love the Italian Greyhounds! Better not take hubs with me. First of all, he would CROAK at the price of the Seramas, and second of all, he'd say no to an IG! LOL, nah, have 9 dogs already so don't really have room for another. But they sure are neat dogs! Oh and we have one purebred chi, and 2 mixes so we like them too.

No, pullets are 12 ounces, cockerels and hens are 14

Yes! I went when my hubby was at work! One of the IG's went into labor while I was standing there so I got to see the pups before I left. So cute. Five hours isn't too bad. I drove 12 round trip this past spring to fellsmere to get some tolbunt and then a couple weeks ago I made a 1200 mile trip to the end of Florida to get some O shamo. I really don't want to deal with shipped birds and risk them getting lost!
