Have you seen the SQ cochins????

No offense to people who have them, but I think they're just grotesque. I much prefer my hatchery LF cochins, they look more 'normal'.

Just candled the 22 eggs I set last week; 18 are making it on day 5

10 frizzled, 5 silkied/silkied frizzle and 3 from the beloved Napoleon. More babies in a couple more weeks!

and good news to all those in line for the silkied eggs - they are fertile!

Laura was there really any doubt that your eggs would be fertile?

I knew they would be.

Ugly chickens grow on you and become beautiful. We all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This has nothing to do with seramas, but I just got some maran eggs and americana eggs -34 and have had them in the incubator for 5 days when I realized that the stupid turner was broken!!!! Do you think that there is any hope. I candled and didn't see alot of veining. But it was only day 5
