So what you're saying is you're a tad bit inexperienced....?None of the chicks should be booted if they are serama. No breeder should have booted. They are not recognized and not showable. On rare, very rare, occasion I have heard that one can pop up. I have never had a booted chick and have hatched in excess of 1000 serama.
It did read it so did I but most breeders that are serious about the breed frown apond it.I thought some people were working on a booted variety? I read about it somewhere?.........?
Well I ordered eggs from a Serama breeder and the assortment included silkie, frizzled and smooth Serama eggs. I was not sure if silkie Seramas have feathered legs but now I am also curious if Seramas have the bluish skin? Nickie is simply Serama with no bluish skin but I am curious if you are saying that silkied seramas have bluish skin like the breed of silkies?
Yea I saw pix of booted Seramas but I really am hoping that its a good indication that I have a silkie. I am not aware if silkied seramas are booted. if the booted is not indicative of silkie then it may just be rare feather legged and not necessarily silkie. I read lots of info on the breed but i am gonna find that info on booted i saw.

I'llI hope both of them do!!!I have 3 still going, they're pretty much filling up all the space in the egg except for a tiny bit on one side. I can't see much anymore, but yesterday I did see the beak of one, LOL. It was so cute, he/she better make it or I'll be mourning![]()
Wow, only 6 more days until hatching! I'm so excited. I've kept my temp and humidity pretty stable so ...
for my 3 eggs to make it!![]()
