American serama thread!

With all this fuzzy-butt talk I am gonna throw this in too. Don't forget some grit. My fuzzies [if and when I hatch] are always raised on sand so I never have pasty-butt problems. Just saying......LOL

Hello everyone, I will be getting my first three Seramas soon, from OC Seramas, really at this point we're just waiting for good weather for shipping. I'm getting three sweet little hens, sadly I'm not allowed Roo's where I live or I probably would have gotten one too. Sadly we've been having an unusual cold snap, I'm not a patient person by nature and I just can't wait for my sweet little girls to arrive.

hi Cluck!
Little Man is just under six months old. And he already has his little baby harem!
He's about to find a new home with Heritage Seekers, who I know will love him right!
Oh goodness, he's pretty much all grown up! Hope mine stays so quiet! That'd be awesome!

Congratulations!!! Well, I guess you can spend the time getting everything ready for them, LOL. I hope it warms up soon and that they arrive safe and sound! Congratulations again!

My avian vet says NEVER feed grit to chickens. One of the causes of impacted crop. Since he's considered one of the major authorities in the avian world, I never question what he says. I also heard the same from someone that head the poultry department at UC Davis and is a respected judge. But, what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others.
