Hi everyone!! Thought I'd share some baby photos with ya. I had decided to have a birthday hatch and the weekend of July 23 (my birthday) I had 29 baby Seramas hatch!! I really wasn't expecting those little pullet eggs to hatch but threw them in at the last min. Most of the chicks are from a cockerel and three pullets I hatched in Jan this year.
When they started hatching it was like popcorn popping..lolol..These are the most active chicks I've had. They're busy, busy, busy, playing and fighting all the time.

One day I was hearing a chick that sounded in distress. When I went to check, this is what I found.

Charlie enjoys watching them as much as I do. I can't imagine what the chicks were thinking when they saw this big hairy thing through the plastic.

Thanks so much for the photos........they are great! As a beginner, waiting for my 2 little ones to arrive in 2 days, this makes me even more excited! It is interesting to see the differences in each chick and be able to compare them. Wow 29 chicks!!

WOW wasn't what I was thinking when I saw all those eggs hatching!!

It was more like...OMG where am I going to put them?

Here's the dad to all but 5 of those chicks. He's 8 mo old. The two black and white pullets in with him have a silkied dad but apparently he's carrying the silkied gene also.

When I first saw "MR. Trouble I thought he was hot stuff, then see this post and sure enuf he thinks he is Mr. BigStuff.

CharlieDog is actually watching "Brooder TV" they have the best shows on that channel....I get it at my house right now too!

I think he hates the other one because it has the feather markings of a HAWK. They are all adorable but, "Hawk" is my favorite.
