So the membrane is still intact? CAREFULLY remove the loose pieces of shell and cover the egg with a wet coffeee filter, need to keep that membrane moist so it doesn't shrinkwrap. Then cross your fingers pray and wait..![]()

What do you mean; hasn't gotten past the air cell? I honestly don't think you have messed up anything tho
Seramas are naturally sweet sociable creatures. When they hit the 4 week mark, their little personalities will start coming out and they will be alot more interested in more than just MAMA. What you can do now on a daily basis is put mama&babes in a pen and sit in there with them so you become part of their "brood", talk to them and give little treats when they come over by you.
Thank you, that is good to hear! I am able to be right with them and hold them a little and I am the hand that feeds them ; ) I haven't given them many treats... just chick food. I guess they are getting some grit on the floor of my shed but I will get some more to have available for them and then I will feel better about giving them more variety. I don't usually worry too much about all these things but these babies are so small and I just love them already!
I mean it's still in the top part and hasn't broken past the air cell
