New picture of Midget. I like the way she holds her tail upright except for when she is resting. But the back is way long. The third picture is Ashes (named by my wife), a younger sister to Midget. Not a great picture. She has the chunkier body of the rooster. I'm hoping she will have the upright tail too. It looks like it might be. Her posture is more upright than what the picture shows.

My wife would say he's so ugly he's cute. I think he's terrific!

well, it is a LITTLE long, but you said she is only 13 weeks right? she should mature more, She has the makings of a really nice birds to me

She has qualities I like, but a long back will not become shorter. It may become less noticeable as she fills out (if she fills out as she has a very similar shape as the mother). Actually pizepete, I do not foresee much change in her as time goes on. Mom was laying at 16 weeks and there has been no change in her since.

interesting. My friend had 9 chicks hatch and every one of them the back got a bit shorter
