You're welcome. I number my eggs as they are laid; that way I know where in the cycle the problem is. So far it has always been the first egg or so. With the last two bunches it was egg number one that DIS.

Teeny-9.5 ounces 12 weeks I wish the red lacing showed in the picture.

You might remember this cockerel from a previous post. He is turning into a real nice bird. I've decided to stop letting my hens brood until this little guy is old enough. With the exception of Midget, if she ever lays.

I know I'm probably being overanxious. And maybe I just need to accept what is.

Two weeks ago an egg with no shell; nothing since.



Any thoughts or ideas? Not dietary

I ordered these and they came in the mail last week. I got one extra egg. I candled them and 6/7 are alive! The one that isn't has a detached air cell

So excited for hatch!

I hope all 6/7 hatch

Good luck. I started last April with 20 eggs off ebay-11 hatched.
