I don't have any Seramas :/
We started candling at set time after rest. Then we know more about the air sacks and start tracking what we see. Like scrambled, loose air sacks , black dots, or even egg size. Records that will help us in our next hatch.I ordered 12 eggs from Austin Hart through ebay and he sent 16!! They were packaged amazingly, none were broken, and they're currently on day 3 of incubation. I let them rest 24 hours before setting them and didn't turn the first two days, but today I started turning them by hand. It's taking all my willpower not to candle these little boogers! XD lol
Hello?
I guess this thread isn't active anymore...![]()
I wish I could help but I’m new to them too...Hello all,
I am planning on breeding American Seramas for showing and I have a few questions:
1. Since Seramas don't breed true how do you breed towards the recognized colors?
2. Which size is ideal for showing? A, B, or C?
3. IMO Tim Hopkins' s Seramas are awesome! Who's is better: Tim Hopkins or Jerry S. (Forgot his last name)?
4. How do you train Seramas to pose? No, I'm not going to the Serama shows, but I just like how they look when they pose.![]()
