American serama thread!

I don't think so. Your possibly seeing it's navel. Sometimes it takes a few more hours to close...looks like a dark bump. Can you take a picture?

Reasoning says they haven't eaten, so no poop ??? But looks like poop, lol. ?? Looks like a white poopy lump ??

Looked again, and now I'm leaning toward the darkest one possibly being male, and maybe even the solid white one. Seems to me that when I see the back part of the comb peek above the fluff, and a part in the fluff is visible, those usually turn out to be cockerels.

Thank you for looking! I will post some updates pictures Thursday when they turn 6 weeks!

I took some more pictures today. They are 5 weeks and 4 days old today. The white one and dark one have a little bigger combs, but not red that I can see or wattle development. Here's some pictures.

Little Brownie is the only Silkie feathered baby . Still happy to hatch one. Now praying for a pullet.
I know what you mean. We hatched one silkied serma who ended up being male.....
However we really do love him. His crow sounds like a hiccup, so he gets to stay. One big benefit of keeping the little guy is that he can fertilize all my other bantams' eggs.
