I got the COOLEST story to tell tonight. This morning when I went out to the stables to see my horse, I noticed a commotion in one of the chicken aviarys. I go take a look and there is a sparrow hawk in there, trashing around trying to find a way out. How it got in is beyond me. I put on my heavy leather "crazy chicken" handling gloves and a plastic rake to try to chase it out.....He was SO tired that it just sort of layed down on a piece of wood, and I very carefully picked it up!! OHMYGAWD I am holding a live hawk---awesome! And such strong feet! Took him out to the front of the stables and turned it loose....what a thrill this was, a once in a lifetime experience. Of course there was no camera to record this..poop.

4AM is not morning, thats still middle of the night Ray.......I am glad you have studied the disaster plan and I see my dancing seems to be scaring the rain away somewhat, Please when you get to Santa Barbars area......send out the vibes to stop the rain storm there, or at least stall it till 6pm Saturday.....

Don't tell on me.......OK listen to this one....I rehomed a gamey mutt hen to some people that have an autistic son. Got an email from the mom yesterday and she tells me that "Baylene" walked into the house and was cleaning the teeth for her sleeping hubby [he was on sofa].....
