I hadn't thought of that, you've given me hope!!!

My one chicks wing feathers seem a little ratty, so my face is glued to the window all the time. Well, I wouldn't want to miss it turning Silkied overnight, now would I?

LOL, I hope it does before you end up with a permanently flattened face!

Not a Serama, but I thought it'd help those hoping for fizzles.

Oh my gosh, that's such a cutie! I hope I see that when my eggs hatch!!! Silkies would be nice too, but I just adore frizzles! My eggs were started yesterday along with the NYD hatchalong, so yah, that's where I'll be New Year's Eve, at home hopefully watching eggs hatch

Thank you. Now she's all grown up, but she's my sweetest and best bird personality wise and confirmation wise.

Brookhavens, You said on Bhep's thread that PeeWee hatched out of a Frizzle egg. Was the egg marked frizzle? None of mine were, and I had been hoping for the chance of having one. So if yours was marked and mine weren't I probably didn't get one I guess.

Here is a Silkie cross that has turned out to be a frizzle/sizzle. She will be 3 weeks tomorrow.




I "think" Cochin is the other half of her genes, as she has yellow skin/feet/beak. But she has the tell-tell 5 toe feet. She was the buddy I got for Uno (my single Serama) and she just keeps getting better. First, she has a superb personality, and now a frizzle/sizzle. This little "girl"

is a terrific little pal for Uno.(who stressed himself senseless the first 3 days of his little life) Now, they are 2 peas in a pod.

So adorable! God I hope some of my eggs hatch and that I get silkie and especially frizzles.
