American serama thread!

Thank you, we like to think so too. We love the little bugger. His crow is cute as well. It's not fully developed yet (at least I don't think it is) so it sounds more like a strangled crow as compared to our full size roo's.
He is very handsome. I have no idea of colors other than black or white. Maybe look for American Serama color standards as a serch will give you some options tofigure it out. Hope you will stick around and let us know how he does at show. I hope he wins something.

I'll stick around and will post how it goes. The show is on the 5th so will be a little while. I tried looking at the standard, but there are 34 different color standards and after looking at 5 or 6 of them realized that without pictures (how sad does that sound, I'm a grown man and need a picture book

) I couldn't really figure out which he fell under.

I still can't figure out my Luna either! And I totally agree with you on the descriptions, like in the APA Standard of Perfection, they don't give examples of things (well, they do some things, but not enough!)

Luna has been changing so it's really exciting to see another color come forth.

Babies! First are my 3 week old little ones

Then my tiny tiny 12 week old baby... this one is living in the house now, and is probably going to be a house chicken since it seems like it'll be a micro. This is Autumn, but looking like I'll have to change it's name to something more masculine :< This is also a standard guinea pig cage which I am using for this baby, to give a sense of it's size

LOL Thanks, and thanks to everyone else, too! I love the colors I got in this hatch. There are actually two frizzleds, the one with pumpkin looking feathers and the dark, white-tipped feathers. They say they like living here, but if they ever need a vacation, they'll come visit :D
