American serama thread!

Hi, Is that big chest area that sticks out when the seramas really show a good pose or with my chick even with out posing a lot. Is that an extra part of the breast or is it the crop. Tonight I noticed my Toy had one side bigger then the other!

LOL, Yup, the crop is on the right side, and it does enhance the chest, but the chest should be large anyway. Sometimes the crop bulges, but it's usually a bit on the low side, his/her chest should be nice and high (with full crop or not) Did I make sense? LOL

I laugh because the first time I saw the crop, I thought my chicken had cancer or something!

They really do! My Luna is changing so much!! I can't believe it, she is getting little white spots on the ends of her feathers making a totally new pattern! I know you all have said they can change 3 times growing up, but this is amazing! Suddenly lots of little dots on her head and a few on the lower sides of her wings and tail... completely changing her look. Well, she is a young woman, can't hold her to one look, right? LOL

Gotta take a picture tomorrow, it's very interesting!

Peewee is so adorable, I so love his feathering!

OMG, too funny! I was just looking at the birds, and hear Hermione and Harriet making a commotion, and Harriet is running after Hermione who has something in her beak! Finally Harriet gets it from Hermione, and starts trying to break it up and I'm wondering what the heck my husband put in there?? Then Hermione picks up another piece of shavings, and starts doing the keep away again, and Harriet drops her piece and starts chasing Hermione again! They were playing! Hermione wanted to be chased! The other tow just watched wondering what the heck? ROFL. I'm sorry but there is definitely a sense of play and intelligence going on here.... ! Chickens are not stupid, that's what I'm learning! It's amazing!

So my little Peewee is 2 months old now. What a difference from last month:
